I typically don’t quote opinion-like articles like this, but in this case, I think it’s worth it. To keep it short, Linus thinks that people complaining because Microsoft wrote drivers for their own virtualization platform are hypocritical. And I have to agree with him:
Well this was what I expected so I’m not surprised. Bullshit worshippers seem to be a growing religion, which is odd considering which millennia we are living in. Am I one of “them”? I don’t know, because I don’t know who “they” are, do you? Are “they” those voices you hear in your head, you and this other brahman, Nikola Aleksic?
Don’t you think it could more productive to point out and research some real problem, like deforestation, blood diamonds, illegal weapon trade, food shortage or child abuse?
Or is paranoia just so much more fun?
