Microsoft, TechNet and transparent communication

While trying to decide whether to buy a TechNet subscription, I needed to
Compare TechNet Subscription Offerings. The TechNet Standard subscription lists the following restriction:

Includes most MS commercial software including Beta and RC releases. Does not include some Enterprise or Dynamics software.

Whatever some Enterprise or Dynamics software means. Does it mean Windows Server is excluded? SQL Server?

Microsoft, as open and transparent as always.

  1. You may have noticed this already but if you navigate to the link you provide above, just to the left there’s a link that says, “Click here to download the full list of products”. If you click that you get an Excel spreadsheet with explicit details of what is or isn’t included.

    There’s also a second link at the bottom of the chart for the same information.
